My first card that features Newton’s Mug bundle, turned out as a sweet watercolor project with a pop of bright and cheerful colors!
Step By Step Instructions:

- Stamp the open images from Newton’s Mug stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Use the negative parts of the dies inside your stamping positioning tool for a perfect alignment.
- Trim another piece of watercolor paper and repeatedly stamp the coffee beans with Archival ink in Coffee color, creating a patterned paper.
- Color the mug and the coffee background with regular watercolors.
- Stamp the bold coffee beans from Love Café stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink in the center of the mug.
- Heat embossed in white on black the sentiment from Newton’s Mug stamp set and shape the paper into a fish-tail banner with a pair of small scissors.
- Die cut the scalloped heart from vellum with Heart Frames Die and trim two stripes from patterned paper.
- Trim and score an extended A2 size card base (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) from Neenah Desert Storm cardstock.
- Assemble all the elements together.
