NND is also coming with a new fantastic stencil called Petite Clouds that will add some extra wonderful details to every scene on your projects.
Giveaway alert!! NND is giving away both new Gnome Garden and Bleeding Heart stamp sets to lucky winners so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!
Although I’m a BIG fan of cute critters, I totally felt in love with fabulous gnomes from Gnome Garden Stamp Set and enjoyed so much making the coloring and creating a cute spring scene. For both cards from this blog post, I opted for a small slimline size that measures 6″ x 3 1/2″. Love this format because it allows to fill the card front with lots of details and it’s much easy to photo than a regular slimline card.
Key Ingredients:
Step By Step Instructions:
- Die cut from Copic X-Press paper all the elements you need, using the coordinating Gnome Garden Die Set. I used on this project Sizzix Big Short Die Cutting machine. Save the negative parts of the dies.
- Stamp the outline illustrations from Gnome Garden Stamp Set sets with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Use the negative parts of the dies as a guide for a perfect alignment inside the stamping positioning tool.
- Color the stamps with COPIC MARKERS. I used on this card:
- skin E50-E51-E53-E55
- R20-R22-R24-R29
- RV21-RV23-RV25
- Y35-YR04-YR07

- E40-E41-E42-E43-E44
- C00-C1-C3-C4-C7
- W00-W1-W3
- Trim and score a small slimline card base (6″ x 3 1/2″) from Neenah Solar White paper.
- Trim a slightly smaller rectangle (5 3/4″ x 3 1/4″) from the same Neenah Solar White paper and ink it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink using a blending brush for a smooth result.
- Tape well Petite Clouds Stencil to the light blue background, using a removable tape, and apply a generous coat of a white embossing paste. Let the paste air dry.
- Die cut a hill and a grass pieces from Neenah Solar White paper, using Land Borders Die Set, and ink them with Twisted Citron and Moved Lawn Distress Inks.
- Arrange and pop all the elements on the card front using a foam tape for fun dimensional look.
- Finish with a few accents added with a white gel pen and some sequins adhered with Multi Medium Matte liquid adhesive.
